REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Special Monitoring Unit (SMU), I&C Wing, S&GAD, Government of Punjab intends to hire
the services of Short-Term Individual Consultant, as per PPRA rules on contract basis. The prescribed qualification, experience and age limit for the candidates and other terms of appointment are as follows:-
JOB TITLE: CONSULTANT AUDIT & FINANCE
Job Description
• Assist the Head Special Monitoring Unit (SMU) in keeping the Unit fully operational through
management of administration, HR, Finance and other day to day activities;
• Assist the Head SMU in Supervising budgets, accounts and financial matters;
• Assist the Head to ensure financial and other statutory reporting on timely basis;
• Assist in HR management including recruitment, selection and training of staff;
• Assist in procuring work, services, equipment etc. in line with PPRA Rules and other
applicable laws;
• Assist the Head of SMU in coordination, collaboration and liaison with concerned
departments on SMU operational mandate;
• Assist the Head of SMU to prepare, coordinate and enforce systems/procedures (SOPs),
policies and procedures relating to administration and operations;
• Assist the Head in managing efficient operation and maintenance of vehicles, equipment,
furniture & fixture;
• Assist the Head to ensure a conducive work environment and smooth functioning of all physical assets;
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Head of SMU from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
• MSc (Finance/Financial Management) / ACCA / CA from a reputed, HEC recognized national or international university.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in Audit & Finance in the public/private sector/NGO.
• At least 2 years of experience in the public sector.
• Work experience with any international donor agency is preferred.
• Should have excellent communication skills.
• Should be able to work independently as well as s part of a team.
• Market competitive salary will be offered.
• Max Age: 40 Years.
General Conditions
• The hiring will be for a period of 6 months
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.

• Unit reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the process of recruitment without
assigning any reason thereof.
