NOTICE OF TENDER
PRE-QUALIFICATION OF FIRMS/CONTRACTORS
1. Applications alongwith all credentials are invited by the HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8,
Naval Complex, Islamabad for prequalification of firms / contractors and issue of
tenders against the following works in the light of Clause-13, 15 and 16 of PPRA
Rules-2004:
Installation of Fire fighting and Fire Alarm System at Gwadar
Const of Tank at Karachi
Construction of Armoury at Ormara
OMNWS-Installation of HF Radars at Coastal Area Gwadar
2. Firms/contractors who are enlisted with MES in category 'A' & 'B' OR other Govt
department, having experience of this type of works; may only apply.
3. Applicants must provide Company's Profile containing the following information and
documents; otherwise will not be considered for prequalification/ issue of tenders:
a. Description of similar nature of works in hand and completed during last five years.
The Information must contain name of sponsoring agency, cost of works and
performance report from the sponsoring agency.
b. List of enrolled manpower including engineers with valid PEC number.
c. Details of tools, plants & machinery held
d. Bank statement of last two years.
e. NTN, FBR, PEC, MES Registration Certificate.
4. Firms/contractors not registered with Pakistan Engineering Council or renewal their registration upto 30* June 2025 will not be considered for issuance of tender documents.
5. Applications will be scrutinized and tenders will be issued to the prequalified firms/contractors only. Prequalified firms will deposit bid security equal to 2% of quoted bid cost in the favour of DW&CE (Navy) Islamabad with the tender documents (Clause -25 of PPRA Procurement Code 4th Edition). This amount is refundable to the unsuccessful bidders.
6. The tenders are required to be received in HQ DW&CE (Navy) Sector E8, Naval Complex, and Islamabad by 1130 hours on 15 Oct 2024 and will be opened on the same date at
1200 hours.
7. Received bids will be evaluated in light of bid evaluation criteria formulated by HQ DW&CE(N). The lowest evaluated responsive bid will be identified & accepted.
8. The Accepting Officer reserves the right to reject any or all the applications in the light of para-33 of PRA rules-2004. Incomplete application shall not be entertained.
