Action Against Hunger has been working in Pakistan since 1979, delivering programs to address undernutrition and its underlying causes. Action Against Hunger specialize in integrated programs in thematic areas of Nutrition, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) and, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs with focus on research studies, emergency response projects across all the four provinces of Pakistan during major disasters and piloting innovative initiatives where we have effectively implemented projects and interventions in the provinces of KP, Sindh and  Baluchistan with the assistance of various international donor organizations.

Action Against Hunger is implementing Nutrition Program in Sindh Province (PINS), funded by European Union. The program will be implemented in 08 districts of Sindh including Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allah Yar, Sujawal, Thatta, Larkana, Qambar, ShahadatKot and Shikarpur. The program interventions focus on nutrition specific (treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of SAM cases in children and under nutrition in women) and nutrition sensitive (WASH, food security and livelihoods development) approaches.
