The Fisheries Development Board (FDB) is a company operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research. FDB intends to offer its Model Shrimp farms located at Moza Hattar, Pind Dadan Khan, District Jhelum to private parties for commercial operations with the following details: The farm consists of 15 acres of land with 6 production ponds, two treatment ponds, one reservoir, and a sedimentation canal. Additionally, a nursery system for post larvae (PL) rearing is available with 10 tanks and two treatment tanks, along with an advanced nursery unit featuring 6 circular tanks. The farm has been established with the latest equipment and machinery and includes a six-room hostel.
FDB invites interested parties, companies, or individuals for the commercial operation of the aforementioned shrimp farm. For this purpose, willing companies or individuals with a minimum of five years' experience in the field of fisheries or aquaculture, or its value chain including processing, hatchery, or feed manufacturing, can obtain the RFP document and submit their proposal documents before 02-07-2025 at 1100 hours from the office of the undersigned during office working hours with a payment of Rs. 1000/- (in cash or pay order) non-refundable. Terms and conditions are mentioned in the RFP documents.
