Government of Sindh (the Government) has allocated the funds towards strengthening operational activities support to the Finance Department (the 'Procuring Agency'), which it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this anticipatory funding toward the eligible payments under the procurement contract mentioned below:
DESCRIPTION
Procuring Agency now invites sealed is from the eligible bidders having registration with the relevant tax and professional authorities and at least one (01) operational office in Karachi City for supplying the above goods on item wise basis with ancillary services, as further detailed specified under the bidding document issued for the said procurement.
The procurement will be conducted through an open National Competitive Bidding using Single Stage - Two Envelopes Procedure as specified under Rule-15(b) read with Rule-46(2) of SPP Rules, 2010 (Amended from time to time) and is open to all the eligible Bidders qualifying the eligibility criteria as further detailed in the bidding document.
Bidders may bid for one or all items mentioned there under. The contract(s) will be awarded to the bidder(s) offering the most advantageous bid under each item, provided the bidder(s) meet the required per-qualification and evaluation criteria and other terms & conditions mentioned under the bidding document.
Interested bidders may seek further information by obtaining the bidding document upon submitting a written application along with a pay order / demand draft amounting to Rs. 1,500/- in favor of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Finance Department Government of Sindh from the procuring agency's office, addressed below, with effect from 5th June,2024 till 25th June, 2024, or downloading it from the websites of the Procuring Agency https://finance.gos.pk/ or SPPRA https://ppms.pprasindh.gov.pk/PPMS/.
Bids containing requisite or supporting documents must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marking on its outer side the procurement title, at the address given below on or before 11:00 a.m on 26th June, 2024. Electronic bids will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives at the address specified in the bidding document at 12:00 noon on 26th June, 2024. However, in case of a public holiday or any unforeseen event on the bids' opening date, the bids shall be received and opened on the next business day at the same time and venue.
All the bids shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days effective from the bids opening date and must be accompanied by a corresponding bid security equivalent to 2% of the total quoted bid in the shape of Pay Order/ Demand Draft/ Bank Guarantee, valid for a period of twenty-eight (28) days beyond the bid validity period, issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of Drawing & Disbursing Officer,
Finance Department, Government of Sindh'.
The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel the bidding process, in whole or in part, at any time before accepting a bid(s), subject to the relevant provisions of the SPP Rules.
