PUNJAB BUILDINGS DEPARTMENT SHORT TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders based on item rates / percentage above or below on approved estimated (DNIT) amount are hereby invited, for the works mentioned below from the contractors / firms enlisted/renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council in Discipline CE-10 & relevant Category for the current financial year 2023-24 in the field of Buildings works. Tender documents can be obtained, from the date of publication of invitation to bids in the newspaper from any of the below mentioned offices, upon written request accompanied with attested copies of Pakistan Engineer Council license (2023-24), Identity Card of contractor / managing partner / director of the firm alongwith registered power ot attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee (Non-refundable) in shape of Challan NO. 32-A under head - C 02706-other, Collection of Payment of Services chargeable to Executive Engineer, Buildings Khanewal paid in National Bank of Pakistan Main Branch Khanewal (only original paid Challan form for each work will be accepted). 1) Chief Engineer, (South Zone), Punjab Buildings Department, Lahore. 2) Commissioner, Multan Division, Multan. 3) Superintending Engineer, Buildings Circle, Multan. 4) Deputy Commissioner, Khanewal. 5) Executive Engineer, Buildings Division, Khanewal. Tendered rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be signed as general directions given in the tender documents. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable Tenders will be received in the offices of Commissioner office Multan Division, Multan at 11:00 AM to 2:00PM and will be opened at 02:30 PM on fixed date and time by the respective Tender Opening Committee at the above venues in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives, who opt to be present. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with earnest money @ 2% of the estimated cost in shape of CDR / Bank Draft / Cashier's Cheque of any scheduled Bank and attested copies of registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained. In case of authorized representative of firm, he should appear in person alongwith original documents i.e Registered Power of Attorney, PEC License, Registration / Renewal of Firm and Original CNIC of attorney holder for submission of application. The Procuring agency may reject all tenders / bids at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid / tender proposals under PPRA Rule-35 (Rejection of Bids), However, Procuring agency shall, upon request, communicate tothe bidder /tenderer who submita bid / tender the grounds for its rejection In case of any Gazetted/Local Holiday then the tenders will be received / opened on next working day.
