TERMS CONDITION
The interested bidders shall submit their bids on the basis of Single Stage— single envelope procedures. The bid shall comprise a single packet/envelope containing the financial proposal along with technical information as required in tender
documents.
The Technical Committee will scrutinize the technical information and documents furnished by the bidders attached with the tender. Later on the Cafeteria Committee will examine the financial proposal, Tender document with terms & conditions is available in the office of the Secretary Cafeteria Committee and obtainable in person during office hours upon written
application and provision of original Challan / Pay Order of Rs.1000/-
(nonrefundable) applying for each Cafeteria/Canteen/Mess/Shop. Tenders will be submitted with bid security in shape of pay order Rs. 200,000/- /
Rs. 100,000/- (whichever is applicable) in fevour of Treasurer BZU, Multan. Tender submitted without bid security will be rejected by the Cafeteria Committee at the time of opening of tender/financial bids. In case of successful bidders this amount will be returned at the time of termination of agreement and after clearance of rent and electricity charges. The bids or proposals shall not be accepted through Dak / courier/email. The Procuring Agency may reject any/all bids or proposals if do not fulfill terms and conditions at any time prior to the acceptance to the bids or proposals.
Only income Tax registered firm/person can participate in auction of the Canteen/Shops. The successful bidder will submit advance tax (10% Of the rent) on
monthly basis along with rent.
The Contractors will provide character certificate and police verification certificate
before getting the occupation of Cafeteria/Canteen/Mess/Shop.
In case of overwriting of quoted rent, the bid will be rejected. Price must be quoted in Pak Rupees. Alternate proposals will not be accepted. No tender documents Will be received after closing date and time.
The tender document should be clearly written and clearly mentioning the Shop NO, Description and Location for which the bidder has applied as mentioned in the
advertisement, otherwise the tender document will be cancelled. The locations of Cafeteria/Canteen/Mess/Shop are being advertised but due to
security Concerns University reserves the rights to shift the canteens/shops/cafeterias at any suitable / appropriate location as decided by the Cafeteria Committee or cancel the contract at any time.
The rent will be applicable for the period notified by the University Authorities for summer holidays as well as other holidays announced by the Government. No rent will be waived off in case of holidays notified by University.
The quality and quantity of food will be checked by Cafeteria Committee. If a sender/ Company do not provide quality/ quantity of food the Cafeteria Committee reserve the rights to cancel the agreement and can allot that Cafeteria/Canteen/Mess/Shop to the next highest bidder any time during the agreement period, The Cafeteria Committee also reserves the rights to cancel the agreement if the sender found in illegal activities or sublet the Shop/ Canteen.
The Shop/Canteen Contractors who are already running their business in BZU Multan. They will provide a clearance certificate from Department of Estate Management after paying their dues of rent and electricity. The Cafeteria Committee the right to reject the application of such Contractors who do not attach clearance certificate along with their application and has game outstanding dues.
If a Successful bidder doing not contact the office of the Estate Management BZU and does not submit his application for the occupation within 30 days after issuance of notice for occupation, the cafeteria committee reserves the right to cancel the allotment and re-advertise it.
The quotation duly signed and stamped by the bidder on the tender document must reach on 29 August, 2024 (Thursday) till 02:30 p.m. along with bid security mentioned above in favor of Treasurer Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, positively in the office of Secretary Cafeteria Committee Jinnah Auditorium, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. The tender will be opened by the Cafeteria Committee on the same date at 02:45 p.m. in the Committee Room Admin Block

in case the tenders cannot be opened on the date mentioned above due to any reason / delay then the tenders will be opened on OS September, 2024 (Thursday) at the same time and place.
